The L.I.F.E. bag is an initiative started by Rance and Zane Wilemon, the
sons of the founder and owner of RAZ Imports. After working in Kenya for 10 years,
these young men formed a U.S. registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, Comfort The
Children International. CTC is seeking ways to better the lives of local African
communities by empowering individuals through opportunity and trade.
HISTORY
When Rance and Zane Wilemon had the opportunity to visit a poverty-stricken village
in Kenya, their lives were transformed. For over ten years now, they have been working
in a small town called Maai Mahiu, which is located on what is referred to as the
“AIDS highway.” When Rance and Zane first told their story to the employees at RAZ
IMPORTS, this compassionate group of hard-working people were so inspired that they
rallied and collected toys, books and much needed supplies to send to an orphanage
in Maai Mahiu, Kenya.
Starting in 2008, a portion of the net proceeds of RAZ IMPORTS has been donated
to the nonprofit organization.
These bags are one small program of many which Rance and Zane have started within
the local African communities over the past ten years.
100% of the net proceeds from these bags are returned to the women so that they
may continue their businesses.
BY SUPPORTING THIS PRODUCT YOU ARE CHANGING THE LIVES OF WOMEN. THANK YOU FOR WALKING
ALONGSIDE THESE WOMEN AND PROVIDING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES ONE
BAG AT A TIME.
